Our research in process engineering: from the understanding of the phenomena to industrial applications

Our partner laboratories develop tools and scientific enxpertise for the study, the enhancement and the development of new industrial processes through a better understanding of mixing, tranfert, separation, chemical and biological reactions. The applications relate to paper industry, tailored materials, alloys, plasmas, cristals, synthesis or transformation processes, and remediation.

  • Remediation and effluents treatment: bio-reactors, fixed bed reactors, bubble collums, flottation and filtration pilots
  • Materials elaboration by electromagnetic processes: cold crucibles, vertical bridgman, plasma torch, kyropoulos cristal grower
  • Paper and printing processes: nanocellulose production pilots, pulp refining, serigraph printing, flexography, extrusion pilots, coating systems
